Second Hand Tenor Saxophones

My first tenor saxophone was a 1957 Selmer Paris Mark VI which I bought from my local music shop. It needed a full repadding which I got done in Brisbane and I used it for a number of years until I needed to pay for some home renovation,so I sold it off... I then bought a Yamaha YTS-21 student model that I used for a few months then progressed to a 1937 Conn 10M tenor, which I loved the sound of.I played this one for a few years also... Then when a 1937 Buescher Aristocrat came along in my dealings with a HUGE LOVELY sound, it became My tenor for about 3 years. I found another 10M Conn again that blew my mind in the sound department,a 1941 which is the horn that I still play today. Some of my favourite Tenor sax players are....Dextor Gordon, Jan Garbarek, John Coltrane, Joe Henderson, Mark Spencer, Julian Wilson, Michael Brecker, Tony Buchanan, Sandy Evans to name just a few.... The Tenor for me,is the most versitile and forgiving in the Saxophone family...What a sound....!
