I first met James in Sydney when I drove down from Lismore northern NSW to buy his Yamaha YSS-62R soprano…This was about 30 years ago,before I had a computer and mobile phone’s weren’t a thing then…

What a nice guy he was…He didn’t tell me much about himself only that he had played with “The Models” …

Years later,he bought some gear from me and only last year said he’d bought another YSS-62R soprano and he bought a Selmer metal mouthpiece that he played with back all those years ago…

Always great to talk with him and being the same age we had some things in common…One of those things was that euthanasia was important and I am glad he has used this option to move on…
